What is the Local Division?

• This division is similar to the Power League introduced last season, with a bit of adjustment. The Local Division offers athletes the opportunity to attend competitive tournaments a bit closer to home! Athletes will have the opportunity to compete and gain experience & skill with less travel. Local teams will travel to 1-day tournaments.
• It is important to note that the following tournaments are just EXAMPLES of the types of tournaments for both winter and spring! Tournaments could include: Power League on the Prairie (Jamestown, ND), Minot Tournament or (Minot, ND), NCR Area Championships (Valley City, ND), Capital Classic (Bismarck, ND) or other similar tournaments.
• CVC strives to roster one Local team per age division in the spring, as registration numbers and skill-levels allow.
  • Due to lack of local tournaments during the winter, we would not be able to provide a full schedule for a Local Division in winter season; therefore, we strive for 2 Regional teams in winter, instead.
