What is the Regional Division?

• This division will look very similar to what CVC has been running for the last 7 seasons! The Regional Division offers athletes the competitive tournaments we are accustomed to, as well as exposure within the region! Regional teams will travel within the region (MN/SD/ND) to mostly 1-day tournaments with the possibility of including a larger, 2-day tournament.
• It is important to note that the following tournaments are just EXAMPLES of the types of tournaments for both winter and spring! Tournaments could include: Heartland Tournaments (Monticello, MN),  Pentagon Tournaments (Sioux Falls, SD), Matchbox or NSU Tournaments (Aberdeen, SD), President’s Day Festival (*2-day, Minneapolis, MN), Jamestown Tournament (Jamestown, ND), NCR Area Championships or ND United (Fargo, ND) or other similar tournaments.
• CVC strives to roster two Regional teams per age division in the winter and one Regional team per age division in the spring, as registration numbers and skill-levels allow.
  • Due to lack of local tournaments during the winter season, we would not be able to provide a full schedule for a Local Division in winter; therefore, we strive for 2 Regional teams in winter, instead.
